Doosan Large Capacity Forklifts

Forklifts are crucial tools used in modern industries. Companies which utilize forklifts need to know their significance, their functional needs, and the safety concerns involved in forklift applications. Forklifts are truly a good investment that could increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace.

Significance
The forklift offers an efficient and effective way to transport products and goods. These modern machines move a wide variety of heavy goods in all kinds of settings. Forklifts are utilized to move things that are bulky and heavy that would otherwise have to be moved manually in smaller units.

Function
Forklifts could reach racks as high as 9 to 12 meters. This allows efficient use of maximum storage capacity in a retail store or warehouse. The forks move down and up by a telescopic hydraulic cylinder on the lift truck mast. Various sets of hydraulic cylinders are utilized in order to tilt the mast and shift it to the side, for positioning. A telescopic hydraulic cylinder is an attachment that allows an even higher lift using a hydraulic cylinder system which works a lot like a telescope. Each section slides inside the other similar to sections of a telescope.

Features
Control levers help to raise the forks up and down, side shift and tilt. The operator pulls back on the up and down lever to raise the forks, pushing the lever forward will lower the forks. Tilt the load back by pulling back the lever, push it forward to tilt the load forward. The side shift lever controls the forks right and left movement. Unlike automobiles, forklifts steer from the back tires. This permits the lift truck to turn in a very small radius. The transmission forward and reverse controls are located on the steering column.
