Daewoo Diesel Forklifts
A lift truck is an important piece of machinery in the material handling industry. Also referred to as a powered industrial truck, a forklift is used to carry and move supplies from one location to another. These trucks revolutionized the manufacturing and the warehousing businesses. Today they are used for a huge range of applications and are considered to be essential for material handling.
The forklift requires an operator who utilizes the control levers to transport cargo and supplies around the worksite, usually a factory or warehouse. Businesses which own their own lift trucks must maintain the equipment to ensure they have a long lifespan. Similar to any equipment components, forklift components, are prone to wear and tear and would eventually become worn. In order to ensure the forklift works in an efficient and safe manner, you must replace worn or damaged parts occasionally. Each and every lift truck component is made for a particular purpose. Below is a list of some lift truck attachments and their tasks:
Forklift Fork Positioner: The hydraulic attachment called forklift fork positioner helps to position the blades. Tines could move both separately or at the same time. Without the forklift fork positioner, the operator of the forklift needs to manually adjust forklift forks for various cargo sizes.
Side Shifter: The side shifter is a hydraulic attachment which allows the lift truck operator to laterally shift the backrest and the forklift forks. This particular type of attachment makes it really easier to place the cargo without having to change the position of the truck.
Pole Attachments: Pole attachments are long metal poles utilized specifically to lift carpet rolls. The poles work better for this purpose compared to forklift forks.
Telescopic Forklift Forks: Telescopic forklift forks are hydraulic attachments which allow the operator to load and unload from one side by handling two pallets of various sizes at the same time. This specific type of attachment is recommended for handling pallets in 'double deep racking'.
