Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

Most commonly, IC or internal combustion lift trucks are used for indoor operations like: manufacturing, trucking, bottling and warehousing, amongst other things. These units ride on cushion tires which are solid rubber tires. The Internal Combustion forklift units could run either by dual fuel, diesel or Liquid Petroleum Gas or LPG. The dual fuel units work with both gasoline and LPG. These machines are able to operate on either fuel but not simultaneously. Internal combustion engines are Class 4 lift trucks. The engine could power all functions of the truck, the hydraulics and truck.

The GO4 Series and the Nissan Forklift Platinum II models have capacities ranging from 3000 to 11,000 lbs. These units offer CARB certified LPG or dual-fuel or LPG/gasoline engines. The CARB certification on these specific engines gives them the confidence to help protect the environment because it allows the forklifts to produce low emissions. The environmental certifications such as CARB, help many employers offer cleaner and thus safer working environments for their workers.

The fuel management systems offered by Nissan, the LP/Gas combinations, offer optimum engine operation to lessen exhaust emissions and provide fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Each Platinum II fork truck is standard outfitted with their compressive engine protection system in place to warn operators in case of a severe drop in oil pressure or excessive heat. This system helps to extend your drive train and engine life to help keep your lift truck investment working at its optimum ability.

The dual fuel units are making a splash within the business as a lot of companies are trying to be as "green" as possible and as environmentally friendly and efficient as they can. It's also a great idea to lease the machine for a while to find out if you like the way it handles before purchasing one. There are numerous options within the industry these days and with some research, you could choose the best unit for your particular use.
